Nano double-sided adhesive is a kind of adhesive with extremely high viscosity, which can be used for bonding a variety of materials. Due to its strong viscosity and easy use, nano double-sided adhesive has been widely used. However, in low temperature environment, some glues may lose viscosity, so some consumers have doubts about the antifreeze performance of nano double-sided adhesive.
Antifreeze performance test
Nano double-sided adhesive can maintain its stickiness in low temperature environment and can prevent freezing. In order to solve this problem, we conducted an experiment. We placed the nano double-sided adhesive in an environment of minus 20℃ and placed a control group at room temperature. After 24 hours, we tested the stickiness of the two groups. The results showed that after testing in a low temperature environment, the adhesion ability of the nano double-sided adhesive was equivalent to that of the control group at room temperature, and there was no loss of stickiness.

Based on the above experimental results, we conclude that nano double-sided tape can maintain its stickiness in low temperature environments. However, it cannot be used in cold environments for a long time. The viscosity will decrease over time. Regular replacement of the tape is the best solution. Therefore, we recommend that consumers use nano double-sided tape in low temperature environments without worrying about losing stickiness.
